After 8 wonderful years, our colleague Milisa has moved onto her next adventure. So many of you have been touched by her kindness and generosity over the years. 

When Milisa first joined us in 2015, Sarah and I were in over our heads as new business owners. We interviewed Milisa, who was living in BC at the time, and we immediately felt a sense of support and trust. We hired her, sight unseen, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made.

In 2021, Milisa became a shareholder in the company, and helped Bread by Us through a very challenging time. We are deeply grateful for her commitment during that time.

Milisa’s presence at the bakery made us feel like we could breathe a bit. Like we could drop our shoulders and sleep a little sounder. She’s a great caretaker, and she took Bread by Us under her wing as if it were her own. Milisa’s level of dedication never wavered, and she is a big part of why BBU is what it is today.
